Before we teach anything, we find out exactly where your child is. The diagnostic shows their strengths, their weaknesses, how they learn best, and what they enjoy. Then everything we create is based on what we find: the materials, the pacing, the practice. Nothing is off the shelf.

Reading and ELA

Reading material tailored to your child's interests, so they read about what fascinates them. English language arts support is shaped by what their diagnostic shows they need.

Math

We use the Tigard Math curriculum, built on patterns, logic, and discovery. Your child figures out how numbers work instead of memorizing rules. Math support is tailored to their needs, and practice targets exactly the facts they're missing.

What we teach

  • Math, from the earliest skills through pre-calculus.
  • Writing, through college level. From first sentences to research papers and application essays.
  • Reading and English language arts, at every level.
  • Study skills. We teach students how to study for history, science, and foreign languages: how to take notes, how to learn the material, and how to prepare for tests.
